Built to Share: Our Work, Wisdom & Repairs

We’ve laid a lot of stone. Now we’re laying down what we’ve learned — straight from the job site.

Project Spotlight: Timeless Stonework on Chilliwack Mountain

When a project allows us to blend form, function, and natural beauty both inside and out, we know it’s going to be something special.

Our latest build on Chilliwack Mountain does just that—with the help of Eldorado Stone’s RoughCut in the stunning “Casa Blanca” hue. This limestone-inspired veneer offers rich texture, fossilized detailing, and a clean, bright finish that feels timeless and fresh all at once.

A Statement Exterior

Set high above the Fraser Valley, this modern home already makes an impression with its architecture and views—but the addition of RoughCut stonework elevates the entire exterior. The “Casa Blanca” colourway was chosen for its soft, natural tones that mimic cut limestone while showcasing subtle embedded fossils and a hand-split face.

The result? A facade that feels grounded, earthy, and elegant—perfectly complementing the home’s natural surroundings and contemporary aesthetic.

Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Flow

We didn’t stop at the exterior.

To bring continuity and warmth into the home’s main living space, we extended the RoughCut stone indoors. This creates a seamless indoor-outdoor connection—a key design element that makes the space feel larger, more cohesive, and connected to the landscape.

Whether framing the fireplace, accenting a feature wall, or simply carrying the material through transitional areas, the Casa Blanca stone adds texture and visual interest without overwhelming the modern interior.

Why We Love Eldorado Stone’s “Casa Blanca”

High Texture: Roughly cleaved face adds depth and character
